Tobi Rates, Executive Director of the Autism Society of America, will discuss the organization's mission and autism-related issues.

OCBH promotes, develops, and maintains the highest quality community programs and services for the treatment of problems related to behavioral health and advocates for the recovery of Oregonians with substance use disorder and mental health disabilities.  

For decades, the American Cancer Society has been helping patients get to their treatments by coordinating rides through volunteer drivers. This Uber-like program, called Road to Recovery, has been fantastically successful, but they've been extremely short on drivers since the pandemic.

Jeff Molby learned about this problem while volunteering for ACS through the Tuscola County Relay For Life. On October 10, 2023, he left home on a two-year bike tour around the country, reaching out to his fellow Rotarians, fellow Lions, and anyone else who would listen in search of volunteer drivers to help people get to their chemo appointments.

Rotory Club of Milwaukie sponsored Sam and paid for his college tuition in Ghana. We paid his tuition for the four years through a non-profit, Yakote Womens Farmers Association. Sam has completed his final exams, and is going to update the club on his educational journey. 

Tim Cook recently completed a remarkable journey, running over 1,500 miles to visit all 17 of Oregon's community colleges. His endeavor aimed to raise crucial funds and awareness for the financial challenges faced by Oregon college students as they pursue their degrees.

The ReBuilding Center is the heart of low-cost, community-based reuse and repair in Portland, making home repair and creative reuse affordable, sustainable, and accessible for all! Since 1997, they have kept more than 60 million pounds of useful, unique building materials out of the landfill, taught thousands in our community to do basic, safe home repairs, and served as a tremendous resource for a thriving community of artists, makers, and DIYers who find creative and inspiring uses for our reclaimed materials every day.

We are pleased to welcome the one and only Nicole in PDX. She is a well known influencer who is based in the Portland-Metro area. She is going to talk about social media (particularly TikTok and Instagram), how to create a brand, and how influnecers are leveraging social media. 

Raphael will share the story behind Intuba’s founding, highlight successful projects currently transforming villages, and offer insight into how collaborative partnerships can accelerate sustainable development. Attendees will gain a firsthand look at how intentional investment and local empowerment can move communities from poverty to lasting self-sufficiency.

Community Warehouse provides donated furniture and household items to neighbors seeking the comfort and dignity of a furnished home while overcoming adversity.

Clackamas County Children’s Commission is a grant-funded non-profit organization that serves over 800 children and families throughout Clackamas County. They provide comprehensive early learning and family services at no cost to qualifying pregnant people and families with children ages 0 to 5.

Mich Nelson (aka Chef Michie) has led a volunteer dinner project at a transitional housing shelter for men since 2014. Twice per month, she and her team of volunteers shop for, prepare, and serve an average of 60-70 guys. The team focuses on providing healthy, nutritious meals, incorporating lean proteins, lower fats, and lower sodium. Mich is the author of "Community Cooking: Stories and Meals from the Clark Center Kitchen All Stars."

An update on the great work being done by the Downtown Alliance of Milwaukie.

Mayor Batey will give an update on the City of Milwaukie.

Mike is one of the owners of Beer Store Milwaukie. He is going to talk about the nearly ten-year journey of owning and operating a business in Milwaukie.

Christine Lewis represents District 2, which includes the cities of Gladstone, Johnson City, Lake Oswego, Milwaukie, Happy Valley, Oregon City, Rivergrove, West Linn, a portion of Southwest Portland and unincorporated parts of Clackamas County.

As principal of CHPCS, Mrs. Macy will give an overview of elementary education in the context of a public charter school. 

Through St. Vincent de Paul's network of local volunteers and experienced professionals, they help thousands of people a year maintain housing, keep utilities on, and get emergency food boxes.
